I TOTALLY understand feeling discouraged with one's vocal abilities.
After finishing grad school for opera performance, my voice was blossoming in huge ways; it was an exciting time for me.
But after a failed medical treatment, I lost not only my physical health, but my singing voice as well.
I was devastated.
It was like I no longer knew how to sing and had to relearn. Even teachers couldn't help me.
I had to figure it out for myself.
So I focused my attention on the slightest details and made subtle, tiny shifts in many areas that when combined, made a huge difference in my singing recovery.
When I lost my voice a second time after a jaw injury, it was just a few days before a big comeback solo engagement with an orchestra. Fortunately, I had the awareness and tools to work my way back to performance-ready.
And that's why I'm SO passionate about helping others overcome obstacles and improve their singing.
I know firsthand, it IS possible to overcome big roadblocks and sing better-with more of your true voice. And feel the amazing joy of that!
